Early on in your Rune Farming adventure you have several methods available to you that can yield some impressive yields of Runes for relatively little effort. One is by fighting trolls near Stormgate Cliffs and earning them as enemies to defeat. By fighting them you may even earn an ample bounty of Runes without exerting too much energy!
Also consider visiting Palace Approach Ledge-Road as another site of grace, shooting an arrow into the air at a giant bird that is stalking around Blood Lake to shoot it off a cliff – this requires both an area-of-effect weapon and Gold Scarab Talisman for successful completion.
Windmill Village
Windmill Village offers one of the easiest elden ring runes farming methods in the game, making it an excellent early-game source of runes. Villagers are dancing happily oblivious to your presence. Equip yourself with bow and arrows or use cheap ranged spells from a distance to quickly dispatch these people before moving on – repeat as necessary until rabid dogs and guards react to you attacking them; after which rest at Palace Approach Ledge-Road Site of Grace to reset enemies that may still chase after you!

At the end of a game, leveling up can become increasingly difficult as you take on all of the main-story bosses and optional fights – this is when rune farms come in handy!
As luck would have it, you’ll encounter one near the end of your quest. Head south of Lake Agheel to Dragon-Burnt Ruins and search for steps leading down below a cliff – this small area contains numerous soldiers and four dogs that could produce an immense bounty of runes if managed effectively.
With powerful area-of-effect weapons such as the Sacred Relic Sword or even the Golden Scarab Talisman that boosts rune acquisition by 20%, it’s possible to quickly clear away enemies and amass an impressive sum in an extremely short amount of time – then warp back to Site of Grace to repeat this cycle!
Caelid
Caelid, located in Elden Ring’s eastern region, features a Site of Grace where players can farm Runes easily during an epic battle between monstrous dogs and fire-wielding soldiers. No matter if a player chooses to get involved or simply observe from afar – when enemies die automatically they’ll receive elden ring runes as rewards!
This spot stands out because it can be reached early on in the game, even before players have completed the main storyline. Furthermore, players need to have unlocked their horse Torrent and are making progress toward attacking Stormveil Castle.
